What is Synergetics?
Synergetics is Fuller's empirical study of systems in transformation. It explores coordinate systems employed by nature. "Synergy" means behavior of whole systems unpredicted by behavior of their parts taken separately. Fuller discovered nature's own coordinate system through geometry.
KEY CONCEPT
Synergy = Behavior of whole systems unpredicted by the behavior of their parts
REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
Buckminsterfullerene (C60) - 60 carbon atoms form a soccer ball shape, stronger than diamond. Fuller predicted this structure through his geometric principles 30 years before its discovery.
